Freedom From Self Will

My Story

For over two decades, I was lost in addiction — trapped in a cycle of drugs, alcohol, and self-destruction. Meth took everything from me: my peace, my purpose, and eventually, my family. I was broken, hopeless, and convinced that I could never change.

My lowest moment came when I lost my youngest daughter to the court system. That pain cut deeper than anything I had ever known. It was in that moment of desperation — when I had nothing left to hold onto — that I finally reached out to God. I didn’t know how to pray, but I cried out from my heart. And He heard me.

From that day on, everything began to shift. It wasn’t easy — recovery never is — but step by step, I started to rebuild my life. God placed people in my path who showed me grace, and I began to learn what love and forgiveness really means.

Today, I live in gratitude and purpose. I use my story to reach others — especially women who feel trapped, unworthy, or forgotten. I tell them what I once needed to hear: you are not too far gone, and your story isn’t over.

I am a mother, a survivor, and a servant of God. What was once my greatest shame has become my greatest testimony. I found freedom — and I believe you can, too.

“He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners.” — Isaiah 61:1
